Make It Write with Scribo

Scribo is the selected writing solution for New Zealand schools as part of the Government's "Make It Write" action plan to lift writing achievement for students who are a year or more behind in their learning journey. See the announcement here.

You can apply here to get access to the Writing Acceleration Tool starting 2 March 2026. You will need to log into Salesforce using your ESL account.

What happens after the 14-week sponsored intervention?

Schools that participated in the Make It Write programme can continue using Scribo after the sponsored period ends through a pro-rated continuation plan for the remainder of the year, reflecting the 14 weeks already covered by the programme. Use the form below to calculate your Scribo subscription or request more information. Extensions to a Scribo License typically run from Jan to Dec, so all fees for 2026 are pro-rated. Make It Write covers 2027 as well, and in the quoted number for 2027 we have taken into account your forward estimates from this year. 

My school is not part of the Make It Write programme. Can I still use Scribo?
